Western Australia's Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) is working to increase the number of women in its ranks. Currently, women comprise 27% of the DFES. Kahlia Lloyd, a volunteer firefighter in Beelerup, is sharing her experiences and encouraging other women to consider joining the fire service.
