National Gallery din Londra a anuntat ca noua aripa a muzeului va fi proiectata de biroul de arhitectura condus de Kengo Kuma, arhitectul din spatele stadionului olimpic din Tokyo. Aceasta extindere este menita sa modernizeze si sa imbunatateasca accesul vizitatorilor, oferind in acelasi timp spatii expozitionale suplimentare. Proiectul a fost aprobat in urma unui concurs international.
