Kenya's government has secured an agreement from Russia to stop recruiting Kenyan nationals to fight in Ukraine. The decision follows reports estimating that over 1,000 Kenyans had been recruited, prompting diplomatic intervention from Nairobi. Foreign Minister Musalia Mudavadi confirmed the agreement after discussions with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
