A leading Iranian archaeologist has told FRANCE 24 that the destruction of Iranian archeological sites is destroying part of human history. Sepideh Maziar is a senior researcher and lecturer at Goethe University Frankfurt and a founding member of the Society for Iranian Archaeology. Along with her colleagues, she has built an interactive map of sites in Iran that have been damaged.
