Campaniile pentru drepturile victimelor infractiunilor sustin ca nivelul actual al despagubirilor nu reflecta costurile reale ale traumei si pierderilor suferite. Plafonarea din 1996 nu a fost ajustata in functie de inflatie sau de evolutia costurilor de viata. Se cere o actualizare a legislatiei pentru a asigura o compensatie adecvata.
