UK Ultrasound Delays Risk Pregnant Women and Cancer Patients
Severe staff shortages in UK sonography are causing significant delays in ultrasound appointments, endangering pregnant women and cancer patients. The Society of Radiographers reports that a quarter of sonographer positions are vacant.
